Tonight we lost again, extending the losing streak to 5 games. I'm not one of those fair weather fans that gets depressed about losing 5 games in May, the baseball season is long and really until August all it takes is one hot month to jump ahead of other teams or to get right back into the thick of things.
However tonight was just terrible. I know Bush was pitching and we probably had an 80% chance of losing anyways because of that fact alone, but our hitting is and has been just atrocious. We had 5 hits tonight and 4 of them were singles. Burke Badenhop came int0 tonight's game with a big whip, a big ERA and a poor record against other clubs. We couldn't shit save for one hit by Weeks. Frustrating is a word I'd like to use...
