Ummmm.....I'm not sure if this is funny or not. I find something funny about it, I dunno why. (Perhaps because I am a sick bastard). So apparently the second place horse in the Kentucky Derby broke two legs and had to be shot in the face (Ed. Note: That is probably not what "euthanized" means, but I'm not a horse racing enthusiast. Maybe they brought out Kevorkian?).
I find it twisted that in order to keep the horse from suffering, they kill it on the spot. I guess its the right thing to do. Imagine if this was translated into other sports? Like if Mike Maddux would have ran out onto the field at Wrigley last week with a shotgun when Yo went down? I'm just sayin'.
